If this was a manual and a better motor I would pay to have it trailered to New York.

I don’t know why you’re looking for help from Cali residents, I think the other 47 contiguous states use federal guidelines and it’s emissions exempt after 25 years. No smog test. Do your homework on that though.

If manual, yes; it would be an excellent car to fix-up and learn stick on. No manual, well, all good things have to end sometime, and it was emissions standards which spelled the end of my dad’s old manual 740 turbo estate anyways.
